The neighborhood of Getsemani is a place that in colonial times was a very popular neighborhood which was separated from the center of Cartagena by the Wall. The buildings are simpler than in the Center, except for the constructions of the churches. The Pier of the Pegasos is located between the Convention Center and the Camellón de los Martires. The view from there is spectacular, and diagonally we can see the Torre del Reloj Público. On the other side of the Camellón de los Mártires is Centenario Park where we can see large iguanas and other wild animals in total freedom. Tours and excursions to the Rosario Islands depart from the Pegasos pier. The wharf is named Bodeguita, -it received this name due to the two pegasus sculptures near the Convention Center.
